#HopeIsPower – JAM SA

JAM SA receives their donation from Hollywoodbets HopeIsPower campaign

This African organisation has the aim to change the way that the world responds to hunger. It offers lifesaving interventions and development projects in seven developing countries in Africa and it constantly seeks to make a great impact on individuals who are in need. It also aims to eradicate poverty and malnutrition across Africa.

Hollywoodbets sought to further assist the organisation by donating a cheque that is worth R50 000. The cheque forms part of the #HopeisPower campaign by Hollywoodbets, which seeks to help organisations that felt the brunt of the recent riots in KwaZulu-Natal and parts of Gauteng. The donation will help JAM SA to continue with their efforts to assist others and make a difference in the lives of many people.

Ivan Krishna, a spokesman for JAM SA, stated that the unrest has caused food insecurity, widespread poverty and starvation in his community.

“We are delighted to learn that Hollywoodbets has given us R50 000 and we are going to use this money to prepare food hampers to help families and communities that have been affected by the unrest.”
