Hollywoodbets Hillbrow donating goods to the Twilight Children home in 2014/15

Hollywoodbets Hillbrow chose Twilight Children as their organisation of choice for Hollywoodbets’ Social Responsibility Programme 2014/15. The team talks about their visit.

Twilight Children first started in 1983 and, what started out mainly as a feeding scheme. It has now grown into an organisation that provides those less fortunate with shelter and skills training.
Team members from our Hillbrow branch Antoinette, Headman, Olivia, Nthabiseng, Myra and Nosibusiso went to visit this organisation. We handed over some essential items that will help improve the children’s daily lives.
The donation included school jerseys, school shoes, underwear, blankets and socks. They also spent their 67 minutes for Madiba day with the children, feeding them soup and bread (provided by Hollywoodbets).
The whole team had a lot of fun and really enjoyed spending time with the kids.
The team hopes that Twilight Children will continue the good work they are doing by taking these kids off the streets and helping them to become the best they can be.
It was an honour presenting these important items to the children on behalf of Hollywoodbets and helping to encourage them by supporting and believing in them.
There are even two kids who are now at university, clearly showing what good work this organisation has done in their lives!
