The school first opened its doors in 1952.
Software development company Betting Entertainment Technologies chose to support this struggling primary school.
The BET team visited Walmer Primary honour the good work the school is doing and to show their support.
BET also donated an ADT security system, an Inspireware interactive board, an overhead projector and the installation of an intercom to the school.
Miss Zukiswa Maku was grateful for the support.
“This is a great investment indeed that is going to improve the quality of teaching and learning especially in mathematics, technology and science,” she said.
